You are most welcome here. The purpose of this website is to help parents enter into a prayerful and loving relationship with their children whom they have aborted. These children are not lost. They are alive and dwell in the presence of God, and they remain members of our families and are willing to help us as powerful advocates. Suffering alone and in silence, parents try to forget the experience of their abortion. The deep sorrow over abortion makes them feel it is impossible for them to unite with their children in a loving and prayerful relationship. Too often, even those who have accepted the mercy of God fail to recognize that they too are called to enter into this prayerful family relationship with their child. In truth, the Mercy of God reunites them with their children wherein the family relationship is restored in Jesus Christ. These babies are longing to unite themselves in prayer with and for their parents, their families, and with all who repent of having a part in abortion. For numerous reasons, these children have been overlooked as a group of people who are advocates, but they represent a veritable multitude of people numbering in the billions willing to be of help. It is time we recognize them as such and to ask them to intercede with God to restore a culture of life to this nation and to this world. Truly, these children can say to their parents, "I am not lost. I am still here, I am alive, I am with you and we are still family. I love you and I want to pray with and for you. I am your advocate with God." Truly, parents can say, "I am not lost. I love you and I am sorry for what I have done. Thank you for not abandoning me and for calling me "Mother" or "Father". I want to develop a prayerful relationship with you. Please help me in telling God how truly sorry I am for what I have done. Thank Him for me, for His great mercy. With you I have the courage to do this." |

It is necessary to honor the memory of those who have been aborted for it does recall the sacredness of life. The Catholic Church recognizes that surrounding abortion there are many difficult, complicated, and confused circumstances that involve woman who are coerced and confused, filled with fear, and sometimes even selfishness. It is never a cut and dry circumstance that is the same for all women. The stress associated after an abortion is often related to the fact that millions of women and men auffer in silence and end up feeling isolated. The process of healing often depends on others acknowledging the pain that one suffers after having an abortion. But there is more. Beyond facing what one has done with honesty and repentance there is LIFE, and we have yet to claim this for Christ in a meaningful way. Though the body of the child sleeps in death, as the Gospel calls it, the soul of the child is more alive and with God than you and I. The Gospel of Life applies here as well, and it is healing for parents, siblings, relatives and friends, and for society itself. Perhaps it is time to consider reparation for the sin of abortion by a commitment to a recognition that children who have suffered abortion have a powerful advocacy role in this world. A commitment to this recognition can open wide a fuller recognition of God's mercy to further the healing process. It can encourage men and women by giving them a voice that is willing to speak out against abortion to say "Never again" not only for themselves, but to a society that has become enslaved to the culture of death. Those who had any part in what brought about an abortion can find peace in repentence as well, and they too are called to pray with those children who are now with God. These children long to have solidarity with all who were involved in order to help them on their journey home to God.
